PD day for USD 341- We host the NEKL Music Festival 
Spring picture day for elementary students will be on March 5th. SEND NO MONEY ON PICTURE DAY! A proof or portrait package will be sent home from the school with information on how to order (Allow 3-4 weeks). PICTURE DAY ATTIRE Choose colors that compliment your child. Solid colors and small patterns work best. Avoid clothing with large images and logos.


We will have representatives of our concurrent course partners available for parent information during conferences. If you have any questions about the courses your student is interested in for next school year, please stop by and talk to them.

Enrollment meetings are coming up. 6th & 7th grade will be on March 6th at 5:30-6:00 and March 7th at 3:30-4:00. March 6th at 6:30-7:00 and March 7th at 4:30pm.

📣 The JV boys BB game scheduled for tonight, Feb 9th, has been shortened to 2 quarters. We are not adjusting the schedule. The varsity girls game may start earlier than normal.

King and Queen of Courts Date Change: Due to scheduling difficulties King and Queen of courts has been moved back one week. Crowning ceremony will be Friday February 16th during half time of the boys basketball game. Winter Formal will be Saturday February 17th from 8-11pm.

Please note! 

Congratulations to Zach Harvey, Oskaloosa Jr/Sr High School Teacher, for receiving the 2024 Horizon Award for second-year teachers.  The Kansas State Department of Education sponsors the Horizon Award and is a regional competition.  Up to four elementary classroom teachers and four secondary teachers per region are selected for a possible total of 32 teachers across the state.  Zach will be recognized at the Kansas Exemplary Educators Network (KEEN) conference in February.  He will also be invited to participate as a special guest in the two-day KEEN conference. USD 341 Oskaloosa is proud to have alumnus Zach Harvey on staff. 

As of 1/10 at 9:00pm Junior High Boys basketball in Everest tomorrow 1/11 is still on. There will be A and B games, no C team game.
The wrestling meet scheduled for tomorrow January 11th at Maur Hill has been postponed.
