Due to the heat/weather, Bear Stock is moving INSIDE! 🐻❤️💙
We’re still kicking off the school year together tonight, but there are a few important changes to know:
🍽️ Dinner – 5:00 PM
Dinner will be served outside behind the concession stands, and we’ll eat in the HS Gym.
🏆 Student Recognition – 6:00 PM
Join us in the HS Gym as we recognize our students and enjoy performances from Youth Cheer, Junior High Cheer & High School Cheer!
🍧 Kona Ice + Lemonade will still be available for purchase!
• Kona Ice — behind the football bleachers
• Lemonade — at the concession stand
🏊 Pool Party – 8:00–10:00 PM
The pool party is still on at the Oskaloosa Public Pool, so don’t forget your swim gear! 🩱💦

Please be advised that we have implemented a new policy regarding facility use.
This is for public facility use. You can find the form along with the terms and conditions on our website under the District Office tab.
We absolutely understand when life happens and things need to be don't work as planned. If something causes you to not be able to return the card within the scheduled week, please contact the district office and we can work with you.
⛔️It is also important to note, we have created this new policy due to cards not being returned or mistreatment of the old policy. If you have a certain scheduled time and date, please adhere to that set plan.
We want to keep our schools safe and continue to serve this great community! As always, it's great to be a Bear!!

REMINDER! This week is KSHSAA's summer moratorium. If you would like to read more about it, copy and paste the following link.

"Moratorium is a mandatory one-week "dead period". During this time coaches (licensed teacher coaches and coach aides employed by member schools) shall be prohibited from
engaging in any type of activity involving student athletes whether it be practice, training, weightlifting, conditioning, competition or travel. All member school athletic facilities will be closed during this period to school personnel and students grades 7-12."
Our policy as Oskaloosa is that there is to be no activities for any grade level. This is to ensure that no students are engaging in any athletic activity by not running the risk of an older sibling participating at a younger sibling's activity.
