Special Veterans Day Invitation
The Oskaloosa High School Veterans Day Committee invites all Veterans, active duty personnel, and their families to our Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, November 11th, 2022. We have a variety of activities planned including flag raising, Veterans sharing with students, breakfast, and a formal Veterans Day ceremony.
We would be honored if you would be able to attend any or all of our planned events during the course of the day. Enclosed is a schedule of events and information sheets to help us better honor our deserving Veterans and active duty soldiers.
Veterans Day Recognition (Friday, November 11th)
8:30 - 8:55 Students and invited Veterans/Active Duty Personnel Arrive
9:00 - 9:10 Welcome and Flag Raising
(K-12 invited to join at flagpole in front of high school entrance)
9:15 - 9:55 Breakfast in HS Commons (Veterans/Active Duty/Familes/Student Hosts)
10:00 - 10:45 K-12 Assembly
