On Friday, March 4th, Oskaloosa Elementary celebrated the National Education Association's annual Read Across America. In conjunction with this event, OES also celebrated their building-wide BEAR Pride celebration. The day was filled with lots of activities to promote reading, as well as activities such as an obstacle course, dodgeball games, computer reading contests, treasure hunts, and more. The grade levels also celebrated by turning their classrooms into movie theatres and enjoying a movie and popcorn. Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating reading, as well as celebrating a successful quarter of showing BEAR pride!
