Our Powerlifting team went to Basehor-Linwood over the weekend. We continue to grow and impress ourselves and people around our great state with our attitude, effort, and manners. There were around 800 lifters all together with some teams having 30, 40 and even 80 plus members and we held our own.
Our ladies placed 21st as a team out of 33 teams. Our men tied for 29th out of 40 teams.
Cooper Talliferrio won 2nd place in Bench @ his weight class, while tying for 7th overall in his weight class.
Jesse Phillips had PR's in Squat and Bench while placing 19th in his weight class.
Taylor Peterson had PR'S in all three of her lifts while battling in a competitive women's division.
Sarah Leitner lifted hard and learned alot while in one of the biggest weight classes for women.
Kailey Billett had PR's in Bench and Clean while placing 13th in another large weight class for women.
Daisy Renae placed 4th in her weight class while competing against athletes from much bigger schools.
