The Varsity Scholars Bowl competed at State Saturday in WaKeeney. We finished with four wins and one loss in regular play, so we came in 2nd. Moving on to the Championship Rounds did not prove as successful and we finished those rounds 0-5, placing us 6th out of 12 teams at the tournament.
We had a great time and the students were happy to get to compete at State. The following students went: Cannon, Olivia, Gerrit, Petey, Jakob. Thanks to Mr. Jones for treating us to dinner at Chili's. We also had five parent cheerleaders there, so it was a great time.
