Gerrit Dangermond has been selected as one of only two students to represent your state as a delegate to the United States Senate Youth Program March 6 – 9, 2022. Gerrit will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship.
Ms. Sayles sent out an email to the junior and senior class containing information on the scholarship opportunity. Gerrit then wrote an essay and took a test; both parts of the scholarship application process. He was later sent an email notifying him of the scholarship being awarded, however this email was sent to his "promotions" folder, so he did not see it until he was summoned by Mr. Jones! What a nice surprise. Congratulations Gerrit!
