The Oskaloosa High School Wrestlers opened their 2021-22 season on Saturday, Dec 4th.  The girls travelled to compete at a tournament at Emporia High School while the boys travelled to compete at the Highland Park HS Invitational to open their season.  The following wrestlers placed at their respective competitions.  At Emporia, Holly Thacher went 3-0 to open the season and placed 1st in the 101 lb division.  Allison King also went 3-0 and placed 1st at the 155 lb division.  The boys placing at Highland Park included Evan Dome 2nd (1-1) at the 113 lb weight class, Jesse Thacher won the 120 lb weight class (3-0), Preston Warbritton placed 3rd at 126 lbs (2-2), AZ Barkus (1-3) finished 4th at 138 lbs.  Colson Perry won the 195 lb weight class finishing the day 3-0 and Justin Miller won the 285 lb weight class finishing the day with a record of 5-0.  

The Bears will be in action again this coming Saturday, Dec 11th travelling to Onaga High School to compete in the Onaga Invitational.
