PRINCIPAL'S CORNER WITH MR. FOSTER

Foster

Welcome to Oskaloosa Elementary School!  My name is Pat Foster and I have been the principal at OES for the past 11 years!  I am honored to be part of the Bear family and work hard every day to help our students be successful.

The faculty at Oskaloosa Elementary has established a core set of beliefs that we work hard to achieve every day.  This includes having a safe and caring environment, working with families to insure student success, having high expectations, and making sure that all adults are responsible for the needs of all students.

We are proud of OES and eager to share our successes.  OES students show Bear Pride daily through our Bear Pride expectations of showing respect, responsibility, empathy for others, and engagement in our daily activities.

A well established Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) is part of the daily schedule at OES.  This allows students to maximize their educational experience.  MTSS provides academic or behavior support necessary for students to be successful.

We encourage parents and community members to stop by and visit our school. Take a look at our programs and take the time to interact with our students and staff.  Consider volunteering in a classroom! OES is a fantastic place!  We welcome all visitors.  Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions at 785-863-2254 or pfoster@usd341.org.
