Congratulations to the Oskaloosa Lady Bears! 2A Sub-State Champs. The girls will be playing in the State VB Tournament in Hays. They will play at 3:30 pm vs Lebo, 6:30 pm vs Uniontown, and 8:30 pm vs Moundridge on Friday, Oct 30th. Pool qualifiers will advance to play Saturday. Go Bears!

The Lady Bears volleyball team traveled to Jackson Heights last night. The JV team played Jackson Heights first and lost the first match of the night 13-25 and after battling back the second game lost 20-25. Our next match was against Valley Falls. The JV girls shook their first loss and won the match in 2 well-played games - 25-22; 25-15. Great job, Lady Bears!
The Lady Bears had their first home matches of the season last night and came out on top winning both matches in 2 sets. The Bears played Wathena the first match winning 25-6, 25-12. Then they played Doniphan West the second match winning 25-11, 25-18. Their overall record is 8-4 and their league record is 5-1.
Last night, the Lady Bears JV team hosted our first home matches against Wathena and Doniphan West. In our first match of the night against Wathena, we won 25-9 and 25-18. In our second match against Doniphan West we lost 19-25 and 18-25. Our record is now 3-6. Great job last night, Lady Bears! JV's next matches will be Monday at Jackson Heights. Thanks so much to all who came out to watch both the Varsity and JV play!
The Lady Bears JV team made a rainy day voyage to Jackson Heights last night where we played Jackson Heights, Royal Valley and Holton. The Lady Bears played hard, taking matches against Jackson Heights and Royal Valley to 3 games! We came away with 1 win against Royal Valley, and 2 losses against Jackson Heights and Holton. Our record is now 4-8. Next matches are tonight as the Lady Bear Varsity and JV travel to KCC.
The Lady Bears traveled to Kansas City Christian Tuesday night to take on KCC and Immaculata. The lady bears took both matches beating KCC 25-21, 19-25, 25-15 and then beating Immac 25-21, 25-14. The girls played really well and now hold the top place in DVL with an overall record of 10-4 and a league record of 7-1.
The Lady Bears JV team went to Kansas City Christian last night to take on KCC and Immaculatta. The girls played well but came up short against KCC losing 22-25 and 13-25. In our second match against Immaculatta, we lost 19-25, 19-25. Our record is now 4-10. We head back to Jackson Heights on Saturday.
The Lady Bears played in the Valley Falls tournament Saturday winning the tourney for the 3rd year in a row!! They played very tough, beating all 5 teams they played. Their overall record is now 16-5 and their league record is 8-1. Senior night will be tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6th) when the girls take on Horton and Troy. The first match starts at 5:00. The Lady Bears played their last home matches of the season Tuesday night winning both matches in 2 sets. The girls beat Troy 25-17, 25-8 and then beat Horton 25-11, 25-17. Their overall record is 18-6 and league record is 9-1. The Lady Bears will be playing for the DVL championship next Tuesday night at JCN.
