Mrs. Collins is a people person. That is why teaching teenagers is such a good job for her. She loves traveling to new places, visiting with old friends and new ones. She also loves animals; she has 3 dogs (Ricky and Heidi, the Daschund/Chihuahua mixes and Molly the Red Setter). In her spare time, Mrs. Collins loves to kayak, walk her dogs, read, garden, and learn new things!)
Family:
Her daughters are growing up: Sarah is 18 and a student at the University of Kansas. Katie is 22 and studying to be a nurse at Washburn University. Her eldest daughter, Jenna is 24. She gradutated from Baker and is living and working in Lawrence with plans to return to school soon. Mrs. Collins has been happily married to her husband, Bill for 27 years. He is a goldsmith/jewelry designer and a great cook.
